We offer this for a few reasons. More and more of us are working alone, far removed from what used to be a more communal gathering. Many of us have lost that tribe. Consider this an open door to share what you’re working on, get some feedback and talk gear.
We’ll create an audio player and uploader page for you where you can upload files and preview or download possible future collaborations and get our feedback for no charge.
We supply all the deliverables that you will need and up to (3) revisions for $65 p/song. Vinyl & Cassette optimization require a small upcharge.
All projects receive pre and post QC and up to a moderate amount of noise-editing.
Turnaround time is generally 2-3 business days after submission and approval of your files.
Proofs are provided via a shareable link, so that you may share with anyone else whom may require access. This link will allow you to preview your proofs with a gapless and lossless player, so that you may accurately hear all of your song transitions. The player will not require you to log in or create an account.
Final master deliverable files are delivered to you within (2) business days of your approved proofs.
Tracks over ten minutes long will require an additional charge, which is billed at +30% of the original price, per 5-minute increment.

Upon completion of your mastered song (usually within two working days), you will be emailed a link, which will give you access to your song on a lossless audio player.
The player does not require you to log in or create an account. It is a high-resolution player and you will be able to share your song with whomever you care to share the link with.
You will then have the option to pay for your master, whereby you’ll have access to your deliverable files, which will include a hi-res file and a digital streaming file.
Free samples do not include revisions. If you are generally pleased with your sample but would like a revision, we ask that you go to our Upload page, select “Revise my Free Sample” and make a payment of $75.
Payment will then provide you the same benefit as the standard submission process by allowing up to (3) revisions total. To better understand why we provide this service, see our FAQ’s page.
Podcasts & Audio books are just as relevant to our lives as music. As such, they will receive the same love & care.
We offer clients with reoccurring weekly or monthly podcast projects a discount, as well as a guarantee on meeting your deadline, so long as we receive your files within 48 hours (2 complete business days) of said deadline.
Mastering for Podcasts and Audio Books includes moderate noise removal, balancing of EQ, application of dynamics, saturation and the optimization of deliverable files for your specified platform.
Deliverables include: Mastered WAV and MP3 files, loudness-compliant exports, proper metadata, and archival masters prepared to platform or publisher specifications.
The cost of this service is billed per (1) hour of content duration and decreases incrementally. For example, a file with thirty-minutes of content, is billed at (1) hour. A file with one hour and ten-minutes of content is billed at (2) hours. See our pricing chart below.
Provided content in need of excessive processing and/or noise removal may be rejected by us or require an additional cost, whereby we will contact you with a quote before beginning any work. See the price chart below for noise removal rates. Again, this pertains to files in need of excessive noise removal.
Revision requests require your timestamped notes. Ex. You hear a pop or click… We request that you inform us at what time the noise occurs. We will then revisit any issues and address them. Note, if you hear a noise, be sure to take note of the time of occurrence and then revisit the audio at that time mark, to ensure the noise was actually on the file and not a result of your playback or electrical system. This is a highly probable occurrence.
Double checking anomalies on your end can save you time and better accommodate your deadlines.
We optimize your music for cassette by doing an optional separate master to present your duplication facility.
Cassette masters benefit from slightly different processing than your digital or vinyl masters. We do this for a small upcharge.
If you’re on a tight budget, it won’t be the end of the world if you provide your duplication facility with the standard cassette master that we provide you.
Otherwise, the optimized master will likely receive less compression and saturation, as well as a few strategic EQ adjustments.
When checking out, select the cassette optimization box and the charge will be added to your project total. See our rate chart below.
This optimization depends on the source material, though usually requires less dynamic and saturation processing and slightly different EQ processing.
It should be noted that this service is optional and if you are on a tight budget, the master files that you receive from us will be sufficient for delivery to your duplication plant.
This is offered for those who want additional, platform specific optimization. If we attempt to optimize your file and disover that it serves no benefit for your project, we will issue a refund and advise you to use the supplied original file.
We optimize your music for vinyl by doing a separate pre-master to present your cutting engineer. We urge you to read on below.
This optimization depends on the source material, though usually requires less dynamic and saturation processing and slightly different EQ processing.
In addition, we employ the use of Tokyo Dawn’s Simulathe which optimizes the cut of your record through all kinds of beautiful wizardry.
This benefits you in that it allows us to catch any potential vinyl related issues and optimize your vinyl cut, prior to you proofing the pre-master. When you hear your vinyl pre-master, you’ll have a clearer expectation as to how your music will translate to vinyl.
There are benefits in knowing these expectations, prior to your music arriving at the vinyl cutting facility further down the line in the process. Consider it a double layer of protection in avoiding any possible vinyl related manufacturing issues.
This being said, the vinyl cutting engineer and all vinyl related manufacturing for your project affects the final outcome in the quality of your project-choose wisely. Be sure to read our “Vinyl Manufacturing Best Practices” and “Sequencing for Vinyl” guides.
Mastering projects may receive moderate noise removal. Projects in need of additional noise removal will require an additional charge. We will notify you of the issue with a quote. You will then have the option to proceed or be refunded any amount due.
Our mastering process includes a thorough QC and this oftentimes exposes unintentional noise (pops, clicks, distortion & sibilance). We do our best to remove up to a moderate amount of noise, though noise is best removed at the mixing stage.
In the event that excessive noise is found, we will inform you with an estimate for us to correct the issues or you will have the option to resubmit your files after you’ve corrected the issues.
See the price list below for our noise removal rates.
